We spent Thanksgiving at my parents in WI. Morgan saw a picture of her cousin Noah when he was born. He was wrapped in a hospital blanket with blue stripes. Morgan got it in her head that she needed a blanket for her baby (that was just born that day). She also wanted a hat that newborns wear while in the hospital. While we all thought she was crazy, her Nonny helped her fulfill all her impossible ideas. They used a sock to make a hat. It actually fit just right!
For the blanket they used 2 of my mom's cleaning towels. They cut the blue towel in strips and hand sewed them on to the white towel.
Baby is all snuggled up and her momma is one happy lady!
Thank you Nonny! Grandma's must have more patience than mothers, at least this one!
