Young Author's Tea

The final event to honor the Young Author's was a tea hosted by Ms. Groff.  Ms. Groff is Shelby's teacher and she oversees the Young Author's event at Oakdale.  The tea honored the 3 author's of the books selected to represent Oakdale at the District level.  Also honored were classroom representatives that were selected by each teacher.  It was a simple but nice program where Ms. Groff called each author up and gave a summary of the book they wrote.  They ended with cookies and tea.
