Celebrating Christmas - Our Family 4

Since we would be in Wisconsin on Christmas day, Santa was notified to come early.  On Sunday the 23rd, we went to church and out to brunch.  When we returned home, SURPRISE!!!  Gifts were under the tree and the stockings were full!  Morgan had left a letter for Santa on the fireplace.  He was kind enough to reply.
Her note said:  Dear Santa, I watched a show called Yes Virginia and it said if you see it in the sun its true that Santa is real.  But I don't know if you are real still because the movie wasn't real.  So please tell me the truth.  Oh do you know if the tooth fair is real?  Write it down on this paper under the plate.  Thanks, Morgan
There was not a plate of cookies since they didn't know he was coming.  But Santa still found the note and replied:
Hi Morgan, Thanks for your note.  I get questions like this a lot.  Think about what your heart tells you.  As far as the Tooth Fairy goes, I've never met her since she only visits when you are asleep.  Have a Merry Christmas, Santa.
She was soooo happy to get a response.

Santa came through big time with ipod touches
We spent the rest of the day loading fun stuff on the ipods and watching the movie Brave that Shelby got in her stocking.  Morgan got Madagascar 3.  We saved that one for another day.  The nice thing about young kids is they don't really care when the big guy shows up as long as he does.  That helps considering we are never home on December 25th.  To me, Christmas does not have to be tied to 1 day.  The most important thing is that my kids know the true reason for the Christmas season.  And HE is not celebrated only 1 day a year.
