Celebrating Christmas - Part 1 - Mosley

This weekend we went to Wisconsin to celebrate Christmas with my family.  My brother Jamie and his wife Dana were gracious enough to host us.  It is a lot of work and Dana has kids all week in her in-home daycare so the extra noise is borderline too much.  At least it would be for me.  Fortunately, Dana has way more patience than I do!

I was surprised to wake up and see snow!  We would have a white Christmas for at least 1 of our celebrations.
We had a lot of good food and yummy treats!  The girls had fun playing with their boy cousins and all their trains, cars and Batman toys.  The other favorite thing to do at Christmas besides eat and play:  open gifts!   Both girls received some fun gifts they were excited about.

Poor Morgs.  Shortly after getting home, Nate pulled out the oatmeal raisin cookies my mom made for his stocking.  Morgan wanted one and I suggested they check with Nonny to see is she put nuts in them. Nate figured he could tell if he took a bite.  He didn't taste any so he passed the rest of the cookie to Morgan.  I was helping Shelby with her homework so it took a while for me to notice she had disappeared.  She had planted herself in the bathroom in front of the toilet.  I called Nonny and she confirmed that although there are not a lot of nuts in the cookies, she did put some in.  Sure enough, after a little bit, Morgs got sick.  I guess that answers any question concerning whether or not she had grown out of the tree nut allergy.  It's still there at a high level.  Sorry Morgs!
