On Monday while I was packing up the van, the girls had to do some work to earn the birthday gifts they had given me. Shelby got busy picking up walnuts.
Since Morgs is allergic to the walnuts, she can't touch them. So she got the job of pulling weeds.
Once the work was done we made a pit stop at the cemetery to put flowers on my great grandma's grave in honor of her birthday on the 16th. Then we headed home for a busy couple days before the first day of school on Thursday. So long, summer of 2011! You were wet in June and oh sooooo hot in July. And as always, too short!
